As an Environmental Health and Safety
Program Director, Mr. Spielvogel managed
more than 40 OSHA inspections and
investigations. While a Compliance Officer
with OSHA, Mr. Spielvogel conducted over 140
industrial hygiene and safety inspections.
He was the lead investigator on numerous
complex inspections, emergency responses,
and accident investigations including
fatalities and a confined space multiple
fatality. Mr. Spielvogel has also
participated in numerous EPA, State
Environmental, and other regulatory agency
inspections and investigations.
Mr. Spielvogel holds an academic appointment
as an Instructor at Harvard's School of
Public Health in the Department of
Environmental Health. He was an instructor
and served as a preceptor in Boston
University’s, Occupational Medicine,
Physician Residency program, Tufts
University, Graduate School of Engineering,
and at Northeastern University. He is board
certified (by examination) in the
comprehensive practice of both Industrial
Hygiene and Safety (CIH, CSP) and is a
Registered Environmental Manager (REM), (all
by examination). Mr. Spielvogel received a
Masters of Science degree in Special Studies
(Environmental Studies) from George
Washington University, Wash., D.C.
Mr. Robert Spielvogel, CIH, CSP, REM, President of Robert
Spielvogel and Associates, Inc., has more
than thirty years of environmental
compliance, industrial hygiene, and safety
management experience in the private sector
and in government.
He has held leadership roles in a
Fortune 500 company as Manager of
Environmental Compliance and Industrial
Hygiene and as the Director of Industrial
Hygiene, Safety, and Training for a national
environmental services company. Mr.
Spielvogel is also a former OSHA Compliance
Officer.
